This project was commissioned by the head of the photography department at Orange Coast College, in Costa Mesa, CA. It was was used for future print projects, namely t-shirt and sweater design.

Design for Nerd Reactor,
a website focused on reviewing
modern pop culture products, events, and entertainment.

I was inspired by their cute mascot "Nerdzilla", and wanted to create a more formidable version of him.
​
Materials used are oil on stretched cotton canvas.

Burning Sensation
2013
Created a logo design for Orange County- based fire-dancing troupe Burning Sensation. This design posed an especially interesting challenge as I not only had a very silly name to work with, but the acronym was "B.S."
​
My approach was to create a symbol that could be drawn in a single stroke, to emphasize the principles of "flow": the point that a dancer reaches when they become intuitively aware of their tools and the fire.
​
Hand-printed on a recycled bed sheet using homemade screen-printing techniques.
OPAL MOON DESIGNS

Hand-painted signage for independent clothing company, Opal Moon Designs, which was used for booth usage at California Renaissance Faires.
Materials used were acrylic paint on recycled wood
found in my back yard.
One of multiple projects created for Orange County Fine Arts, a not-for-profit art association and gallery. This project was used to advertise for a fine arts show.
